Twice a week after school, for more than three months, Amanda has volunteered and assisted staff with gymnastics class. In that time, Amanda has contributed to help teach the kids gymnastics skills while encouraging them and building their self esteem.

Sunshine on a Rainy Day!
The Somerset Hills YMCA held its annual Flag Day 5K on Thursday June 11, in Basking Ridge. We congratulate and applaud (from left), Kristen Clarke, Alexa Nacamuli, Sammy LaMonte, Daisy DeSimone and Gillian Smith, members of the Special Needs Adult Program (SNAP), for participating in and finishing the race in the pouring rain! Their cheery smiles and good humor provided us all with the sunshine we needed that day.
