 Annual Support Fund
The Annual Support Fund is the centerpiece of our Strong Kids Campaign, a financial assistance program that enables children and families to participate in YMCA programs and access YMCA services regardless of their ability to pay. Assistance is provided based on demonstrated need, and is available for membership, programs, childcare and day camp.
The success of the Annual Support Fund is measured by the number of lives that the YMCA is able to touch. Gifts of all sizes will make a difference as we strive to raise $550,000 in 2008.
Fundraising Events
The Somerset Hills YMCA holds several fundraising events to benefit the Annual Support Fund. Our major events are:
- Strong Kids Open: the Annual Somerset Hills YMCA Golf Classic is held Monday September 15, 2008 at a private golf course and features lunch, golf, cocktails and dinner. Auctions and a raffle add to the excitement of the day.
- The Big Apple Circus is held at Somerset Patriots Stadium, Somerville in March.
- YMCA Night at Somerset Patriots is held August 1, 2008.
