Liam Dillon Hits The Strike Zone Liam Dillon, member of the Somerset Hills YMCA and a brown belt in the Y’s Tae Kwon Do classes, was invited to throw the first pitch at Y Night at the Patriots last Friday at TD Bank Ballpark. Liam, wearing his Y Camp t-shirt, threw a good strong pitch after having being introduced by Tad Waldbauer, Chair of the Board, Somerset Hills YMCA. Tad described Liam as an inspiration to us all in his determination and hard work in the field of martial arts.   Y Night at the Patriots was a beautiful evening complemented by great Y friends, perfect weather, a sold-out crowd, and a splendid fireworks display. We would like to thank everyone who attended and who therefore supported Strong Kids, our financial assistance program to support those in need in the community. At the Y, strengthening community is our cause – thanks for helping us fulfill that at Y Night at the Patriots!   By the way, Liam’s Mom, Donna, wrote to us after the baseball game and said, “We are truly appreciative of the opportunities the Y offers us and Liam's growth is certainly a testament of the Y's mission. We had a great time, Liam is on cloud 9!” Way to go Liam!
