GYMNASTICS
The newly expanded Somerset Hills YMCA is proud to offer a complete recreational gymnastics program in our brand new, dedicated space. All classes are held in the new gymnastics studio, which includes a spring floor, Tumble Trak trampoline, new balance beams, parallel bars, vault and much more! The staff at the YMCA follows the USA Gymnastics guidelines for teaching all levels of gymnasts, with safety and fun as our first priority. Every member of our staff is Safety Certified by USAG, the governing body for gymnastics in the USA. We promote learning through consistency and repetition with an emphasis on fun and fitness. Instructor will assess each child's interest and ability and may suggest an appropriate class.

The Somerset Hills YMCA Gymnastics programs is designed for gymnasts of all levels, beginner to advanced. Instructors coach students on all events, incorporating body awareness and control, flexibility, strengthening, conditioning, and safety knowledge into all lessons. We base our curriculum on our four core values of respect, responsibility, honesty and caring.
