With more than 950 arts-friendly YMCA's across the nation, Y Arts has been declared one of the fastest growing YMCA program areas. Y Arts at the Somerset Hills YMCA offers mission-based programs in support of the healthy growth and development of kids, teens, adults and seniors through the arts and humanities. Y Arts programming serves as a platform to: Showcase the breadth and commitment of Y Arts programming in building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities Raise public awareness of the importance of the arts to our communities Engage in community-wide partnerships with other cultural organizations Support arts-based memberships, member-artists and art appreciators Establish cultural leadership roles by activating the arts within the community.
