Assistance is provided based on demonstrated need, and is available for membership, programs, childcare and day camp.
  2. Potentially get a free ticket! For every ten tickets that you purchase, you can receive one free

The Big Apple Circus is a mix of traditional circus entertainment (clowns, juggling, small animal acts) and amazing artistry (trapeze, acrobatics). It truly is a wonderful event.

Through December 31: COURTESY RECIPROCAL MEMBERSHIP TRIAL PROGRAM

2010, reciprocal membership pop signThe Somerset Hills YMCA has teamed up with the Summit Area YMCA, the Metro YMCA of the Oranges and the Madison Area YMCA to provide a greater value to your membership. From May 1 through December 31, 2010, members may visit and exercise at any of the YMCAs listed above as part of your membership to the Somerset Hills YMCA. For all the details and more information, please visit the Welcome Center or this website.

Upon your first visit to a Host YMCA (the YMCA that you are visiting), you must present a valid Somerset Hills YMCA Membership Card and Photo ID. You will be asked to complete a ‘Visiting Member’ application form and waiver at the Host YMCA Welcome Center.

If you are visiting the Somerset Hills YMCA from another participating Y, the necessary forms are available for download by clicking here or visiting our Welcome Center.

Please note the following:

  • The Host YMCA will verify your membership status at your first visit and subsequent visits. You must check in or sign in each time you visit a Host YMCA. Note that YMCA’s are independent from one another and do not have a centralized database.
  • A record of your visits will be shared with your Home YMCA. If you are found to be using a Host YMCA more than your Home YMCA you will be asked to either transfer your membership or have a limit put on the number of visits.
  • If you visit a Host YMCA on an expired or terminated membership, you may lose your right to use this program. You must have a current, full facility membership at your Home YMCA to participate in this program; program and trial memberships are not eligible for participation.
  • Before you visit a Host YMCA, you should check their website for schedules as well as any restrictions to this program; each YMCA reserves the right to restrict access if capacity is a concern.
  • This program is intended for use of the standard facilities (pool, fitness center, courts) and does not include specialty, fee-based programs.
  • Please treat your Host YMCA as you would your Home YMCA; al YMCA members are expected to display the core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
  • The reciprocal membership program may discontinued or amended by any or all participating YMCAs with 30 days notice to the other participating YMCAs.
  • If you have any questions about this program, please contact your Home YMCA.
